Privacy notice

Last updated 1 July 2026

Alo Rewards runs a single monthly email digest. We keep as little information as we can, and we never sell it. This notice explains exactly what that means.

Who is responsible

Alo Rewards, Ģertrūdes iela 34–6, Rīga, LV-1011, Latvia, is the data controller for this website and its digest. You can reach us any time at contact@alorewards.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address, only if you subscribe to the digest. That is the one detail we need to send you an issue.
  • An optional first name, if you choose to give one, so the email can greet you.
  • Basic delivery events from our email provider — whether a message was delivered or bounced — so we can stop mailing an address that no longer works.

We do not place advertising trackers on this site, and our emails contain no tracking pixels. We do not build a profile of you.

Why we use it

Your address is used for one purpose: to send you the monthly digest and the occasional note about the publication itself. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you subscribe and can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your address for as long as you stay subscribed. If you leave, we remove it within 30 days, except for a short suppression record that simply notes you asked not to be contacted — so we do not accidentally add you again.

Who else sees it

Your address is stored with the email delivery service that sends our digest, acting only on our instructions. We do not share, rent or sell subscriber data to anyone, and we do not transfer it outside our provider for marketing.

Your rights

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue, or by writing to us.
  • Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate if you believe we have mishandled your data.

To exercise any of these, email contact@alorewards.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. A browser may store a small technical preference locally, but nothing that identifies you is sent back to us.

Changes to this notice

If we update how we handle data, we will change the date at the top and, for anything significant, mention it in an issue.
